Mr. Dinesh Patidar, Chairman and Whole-Time Director of Shakti Pumps (India) Limited, leads a globally recognized pioneer in energy-efficient water solutions. Shakti Pumps, established in 1982 and ISO 9001:2015-certified, is among the world’s few manufacturers of 100% stainless steel pumps and highly energy-efficient motors - setting enduring benchmarks in innovation and sustainability.

A visionary leader, Mr. Patidar began his journey with Shakti Pumps in 1986, transforming it from a promising domestic enterprise into one of India’s most trusted and future-ready pump manufacturers.

With a firm belief that innovation must serve a meaningful purpose, he led the introduction of India’s first stainless steel pumps - reshaping an industry long reliant on conventional materials. Under his leadership, Shakti Pumps became the first Indian company to earn a BEE 5-Star rating, with over 260 certified models.

A commerce graduate with strong agricultural roots, Mr. Patidar brings together business strategy and ground-level understanding. He continues to drive excellence across four core pillars:

His leadership has resulted in sixteen patents, UL certifications, and global recognition - guided by a simple principle: technology must uplift lives. A problem-solver at heart, Mr. Patidar remains personally involved in overcoming complex mechanical and design challenges, ensuring that innovation is both practical and impactful.

Outside the boardroom, Mr. Patidar serves as Chairman of FICCI’s Madhya Pradesh Chapter, contributing to industrial policy and regional development. Along with his wife, he co-founded the Shakti Foundation, which empowers rural women and supports education for underprivileged children in Central India — driving inclusive growth from the grassroots.

Rooted in ethics, transparency, and compassion, Mr. Patidar believes that leadership is about building a lasting legacy that touches lives. Based in Indore, he draws inspiration from family, reading, and travel — continuing to lead Shakti Pumps with humility, foresight, and a strong sense of purpose.
