Mr. Dinesh Patidar is the Chairman and Whole Time Director of Shakti Pumps (India) Limited, a leading manufacturer of India’s first BEE 5 Star rated pumps. The ISO 9001:2015 certified company founded in 1982 is among the few pioneers in the world to produce 100% stainless steel pumps & energy efficient motors.

Founded in 1982, Shakti Pumps has emerged as a pioneer in India’s pumping industry. The transformation began in 1986 when Mr. Dinesh Patidar took over the reins and introduced India’s first stainless steel pumps, revolutionizing an industry dominated by conventional materials. Under his leadership, Shakti Pumps became the first Indian company to earn a BEE 5-star rating, with over 260+ energy-efficient models certified, gaining both national and global recognition.

With a degree in commerce and deep agricultural roots, Mr. Patidar leads across key domains:

  • Product Innovation – Spearheads R&D to develop advanced, energy-saving technologies.
  • Manufacturing & Operations – Champions efficiency, sustainability, and quality.
  • Global Expansion – Aligns Shakti’s offerings with international markets and standards.
  • Renewable Energy – Drives the adoption of solar-powered irrigation and water management systems.

Shakti’s progress under his leadership includes securing nine patents, achieving UL certification, and being at the forefront of renewable integration in pumping. Mr. Patidar is also a problem-solver at heart, deeply involved in addressing mechanical and design challenges.

Guided by values of ethics, transparency, and customer-centricity, Mr. Patidar ensures that Shakti Pumps remains grounded in purpose. He fosters a culture of inclusion, integrity, and sustainability across the organization.

Outside of business, he serves as Chairman of FICCI, MP Chapter, contributing to industrial policy and economic dialogue. Along with his wife, he co-founded the Shakti Foundation, focused on women’s empowerment and education for underprivileged children in rural Central India. Their efforts help create self-sustainable livelihoods and bridge the gap between access and opportunity.

A resident of Indore, Mr. Patidar finds joy in family time, reading, and travel—continuing to lead with purpose, passion, and a commitment to long-term impact.
